Theprofessionalwillassumeresponsibilities forIREC’sresearchdatamanagement,openscienceand reportingobligations.

Inparticular,positiontasksincludecollection,curationandmanagementofthe institute’sresearchdata(datasets,scientificproduction,KPIs),supportresearchersintheelaboration of research data management plans (DMP) and open science matters, institutional repository management (ex. Zenodo) and research data reporting (UNEIX, Portal de la Recerca, etc.).

The professional ideally would be skilled and have knowledge of research data management and the use of specific research management software, and be familiar with research institutions and the CERCA system. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, goals oriented, innovative, with initiative and problem-solving skills would be valuable. High level of writing, communication and negotiation skills are desired.

Topics included in the exam:

Research data management (scientific production, datasets, etc.) and research data management tools.

• Education (up to 12.5 points):
  • Academic degrees related to the position: 7.5 points.
  • Continuing and/or complementary training related to the field, duly justified: 2.5 points.
  • Languages:
    
    2.5 points.
• Experience in managing institutional repositories: 5 points.
• Professional experience (up to 7.5 points):
  • Services provided in the same or similar professional category: 0.1388 points per full month, up to 5 points.
  • Services provided in other public sector entities or research centers or universities, in a similar category: 0.0416 points per full month, up to 2.5 points.

Skills/Qualifications

• Education in Information and Digital Documentation Management, Data Management, Science, Technology or Engineering.
• Knowledge of research data management and scientific production. Knowledge of research data management software.
• Experience with in institutional repositories (e.g., Zenodo).

Preferred:

• Proven experience using Fundanet software platform.
• Experience with in institutional reporting (UNEIX, PRC)
• Experience in research centres, ideally in CERCA research centres.
