The professional will be responsible for promotion of R&D&i projects and business development within the Corporate Development and Technology Transfer department. In particular, tasks will include promotion of international R&D&i competitive‑funded projects, mainly under the Horizon Europe programme, proposal preparation, consortia formation, partner search, participation in brokerage events and budget definition. Tasks may also include proposal preparation of R&D&I proposals at national level and in collaboration with industry.

The professional will also be expected to give support in data management, open science and gender issues in research matters.

The professional must be highly skilled and have proven experience in the preparation and management of competitive R&D&I projects, both at European (H2020, HE, LIFE…) and national (AEI, ACCIO, AGAUR…) levels. Experience in research data management, open science and gender issues in research projects will be valued. Capacity to work in a team, flexible, service oriented with initiative and problem‑solving skills would be valuable.

High level of communication and negotiation skills are mandatory.

Topics included in the exam:

• Competitive funding calls for R&D&i projects, at national and European levels. Proposal preparation. Consortia formation. Proposal coordination and budgeting.
• Horizon Europe Programme. HE proposal preparation. Funding and tenders platform. Grant Agreement and Consortium Agreement.
• National R&D&I programmes: AEI, AGAUR, ACCIO, etc. Main calls and characteristics.
• R&D project management. Planning and execution of the project. Financial follow‑up and justification. Data Management Plans.

Scoring Criteria for the Selection Phase (maximum 40 points)

• Education (up to 12.5 points):
  • Academic degrees related to the position: 7.5 points.
  • Continuing and/or complementary training related to the field, duly justified: 2.5 points.
  • Languages:
    
    2.5 points.
• Experience in the functions within the department of the advertised position: 7 points.
• Experience in the energy sector, renewable energies, energy efficiency, storage, and smart grids: 3 points.
• Experience in research data management plans, ethical and gender aspects in research and research projects, and open science: 3 points.
• Professional experience (up to 7.5 points):
  • Services provided in the same or similar professional category: 0.1388 points per full month, up to 5 points.
  • Services provided in other public sector entities or research centers or universities, in a similar category: 0.0416 points per full month, up to 2.5 points.

Skills / Qualifications

Preferred:

• Knowledge and/or experience on renewable energies, smart grids, energy efficiency and energy sector.
• Experience in relationship with stakeholders, negotiation and agreements.
• Experience in providing information in research data management plans, ethics and gender issues in research aspects.
