The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG is composed by an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team which is supported both by a flexible and efficient administration and by high-end and innovative technologies.
This position has been created to provide specialized bioinformatics expertise in image analysis for a project focused on breast cancer and histone post-translational modifications (PTMs). The role aims to support the quantitative analysis of imaging data derived from immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) experiments. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with a technician specialized in IHC/IF and a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in bioinformatics and computational biology.
This integrated effort will ensure rigorous, high-resolution spatial analysis of histone PTM patterns in tumor samples.
Our laboratory investigates how metabolism and chromatin regulation intersect to shape cellular identity and disease, with a particular focus on cancer biology. We combine molecular biology, imaging, genomics, and computational approaches to address fundamental questions in genome regulation. The lab fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment where trainees and researchers work closely across expertise areas. We are strongly committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and actively cultivate a respectful and supportive workplace for individuals from all backgrounds.
