Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Marketing Director to accelerate growth of our international online software marketplaces through world‑class go‑to‑market strategies. This role will drive end‑to‑end go‑to‑market and product marketing execution for Gartner Digital Markets.
What You Will Do- Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition for Gartner Digital Markets’ suite of advertising and lead generation solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing product marketing team.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and budgets; report on marketing performance and ROI to executive leadership.
- Go‑to‑Market & Product Marketing
- Own the go‑to‑market strategy for new advertising products, features, and platform enhancements across Gartner Digital Markets.
- Define and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions to differentiate our advertising and lead generation solutions in the B2B SaaS landscape.
- Partner with Product and Sales to drive successful product launches and ensure alignment across teams.
- Demand Generation & Growth
- Oversee multi‑channel demand generation programs. Leverage email and content marketing strategies to build pipeline and accelerate revenue growth for our advertising and lead generation solutions.
- Optimize lead nurturing, scoring, and conversion processes in partnership with Sales and Revenue Operations.
- Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance.
- Brand & Communications
- Elevate the Gartner Digital Markets brand and its Buyer brands (Capterra, Software Advice, and Get App) through compelling storytelling.
- Manage content strategy, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and customer success stories showcasing the impact of our marketplace and advertising solutions.
- Represent Gartner Digital Markets at digital events as a brand ambassador and thought leader.
- Market & Customer Insights
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Gather and synthesize feedback from software vendors and buyers to continuously improve messaging, campaigns, and product offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a SaaS, digital marketplace, or ad tech company.
- Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive growth and brand awareness in the B2B software space.
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, B2B SaaS marketing, and online marketplace dynamics.
- Strong leadership, team management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; experience with public speaking and representing brands externally.
- Data‑driven mindset with hands‑on experience using marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
