Accommodation is a key part of that, which includes both Hotels, which is a key growing product, and Dynamic Packages, which is the intelligent bundling of flights, hotels, and other services. What you will do:

We are seeking a Strategic Business Manager to accelerate this vital business area. This leader will be a central thought leader and driver of success for Dynamic Packages and Hotel. You will be responsible for a key P & L, orchestrating a cross‑functional organization to achieve ambitious growth targets. Leveraging our Prime subscription program – the largest in travel with over 7 million members—you will define and execute the strategy to accelerate growth and maximize profitability for this critical P&L.

This role is for a leader who thrives on identifying market opportunities, building data‑backed hypotheses, and mobilizing cross‑functional teams to deliver outstanding commercial results.

Reporting to the Chief Accommodation Officer, you will be a key voice in our senior leadership team in accommodation, shaping product strategy and driving innovation in how travel is sold online.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Commercial Growth:
    Take full ownership of key elements of the Accommodation P&L, developing and executing a strategy to exceed ambitious targets for bookings, revenue margin, and marginal profit.
  • Influence the Business: ensure that Dynamic Packages and Hotel are at the centre of decision‑making within the business. Be the go‑to expert for Dynamic Packages in particular, effectively communicating performance, strategy, and recommendations to our C‑level.
  • Improve the Product Offering:
    Act as the key business visionary for our accommodation products working hand‑in‑hand with Product and Tech leaders to define a roadmap that delivers a world‑class customer experience and unlocks new revenue streams.
  • Lead for Impact:
    Inspire and lead a cross‑functional group of experts across Analytics, Product, Prime, and Revenue Management, fostering a culture of high performance, hypothesis‑testing, and rapid execution.
  • Champion Data‑Driven Strategy:
    Utilize deep analytical insights and market benchmarking to build the business case for new initiatives, prioritize investments, and secure buy‑in from stakeholders up to the C‑Level.
  • Optimize the Value Chain:
    Partner with our Head of Inventory and other commercial leaders to ensure our strategy is perfectly aligned with our supply capabilities, maximizing value for both the company and our customers.
What you need to succeed:
  • Strategic Toolkit:
    You likely have a background (5+ years) in a top‑tier strategy consulting firm, giving you a structured and analytical approach to complex problem‑solving.
  • Proven Commercial Leader:
    You have experience in a role with direct P&L management responsibility and know what is required to drive improvement in a fast‑paced digital environment (e.g., e‑commerce, travel tech, online retail).
  • Domain Expertise:
    Prior experience in the online travel industry, especially with dynamic packaging and/or hotel, is a significant advantage.
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
  • Data‑Fluent:
    You are exceptionally strong analytically, comfortable diving into the details with the analytics team to find the “so what” behind the data and translate it into commercial action.
