The Global Senior Inventory Analyst is responsible for conducting regular and ad‑hoc analyses to identify opportunities for improvement across the global inventory. The role collaborates closely with global and local teams including Operations, Procurement, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory cycle levels.
The analyst will perform root-cause analyses, propose corrective actions, and ensure inventory levels align with company goals. This position also plays a key role in enhancing reporting tools, dashboards, and business insights used for management decision-making and cross‑functional alignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Regular Inventory Analysis
- Create and update a daily global supply chain parameter file, including SKU-level requirements, stock status, and related data.
- Calculate weekly Cycle Stock resulting from standard replenishment processes and aligned with estimated demand.
- Review daily open purchase orders (POs) and track delivery fluctuations compared to previous days.
- Monitor daily stock in Q (quality).
- Prepare the monthly Inventory Health Report for MBRs, covering:
Excess inventory, Healthy inventory, Stock shortages, SKU-level shortage analysis and collaborate with Supply Chain and Affiliates to resolve excesses and shortages. - Provide weekly updates on safety stock parameters.
- Analyze excess inventory caused by RFC reductions vs. safety stock levels.
- Track and explain significant inventory changes within specified timelines.
- Conduct What‑If analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure all regular and ad‑hoc analyses are delivered 100% accurately and within required deadlines.
- Lead enhancements of existing dashboards and develop new dashboards to improve organizational performance and decision-making.
- Enrich analysis with business insights to optimize inventory parameter calculations and What‑If scenarios.
- Provide analytical data and insights for Business Reviews and Management Business Reviews (MBRs).
- Collaborate with various management levels across the company.
- Ensure timely, diligent, and reliable execution of all assigned tasks.
- University degree (VII level) in social sciences, business, engineering, or another relevant technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in inventory analysis or a closely related supply chain discipline.
- Advanced English
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SQL.
- Understanding of MRP systems.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
- Ability to work with cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
- Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
- Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
