After entering Spain in ****, we have established ourselves as the third-largest private provider of ophthalmology care in the country, with over €100m in revenue across 5 hubs and more than 20 locations, including a recently signed and large-scale addition to our network. Our ambition is to continue this momentum, expanding our provision of high-quality and innovative ophthalmic care across Spain through both organic and inorganic initiatives.

• Be on the ground and understand operations:
  Spend full days observing live operations (diagnostics, patient routing, reception) and write down every step that does not work.
• Translate strategy into execution:
  Translate the commercial strategy into concrete on-site changes and drive them until they are done – you do not advise, you do.
• Make processes stick:
  Build the operational routines and checklists so a process keeps running after you walk away, with continuous optimization across operations, sales, and marketing.
• Be the point of contact:
  Support the local clinic's day-to-day business, act as point of contact for the clinic manager and our shareholding doctors, and act as clinic manager yourself in smaller clinics.
• Track impact and report:
  Track that changes hold and report back clearly and quickly to the Commercial Director.
• Scale:
  Transfer best practices between sites, and later between hubs, driving the build-up of the Spanish market.

You will work closely with the local clinic teams and clinic management, our shareholding doctors. During onboarding, you will spend several days learning the model directly inside our German Sanoptis clinics.

Relevant professional experience in a demanding environment, e.g. in strategy consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG or similar) or in comparably fast-paced companies.

A degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on healthcare economics or comparable;

experience in the healthcare sector is a plus but not essential.

Practical operational experience paired with an entrepreneurial mindset and a real talent for solving complex problems.

Proven ability to excel in a dynamic environment and to produce and communicate business and financial analyses at executive level.

The flexibility and drive to work across different locations.

Native Spanish (C2) and business-fluent English (C1 or above) – you will learn the model inside our German clinics and report back in English.
