ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to continuous growth, our People & Culture Team is excited to welcome a motivated Payroll & HR Compliance Specialist to ensure full compliance with labor regulations and internal policies while managing payroll processes with precision and confidentiality.

As a Payroll & HR Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring legal, ethical, and procedural integrity across our HR operations. Working closely with Finance, Legal, and external advisors, you’ll manage payroll, maintain compliance frameworks, and contribute to a positive and transparent employee experience.

YOUR MISSION

As a Payroll & HR Compliance Specialist at Leadtech, you will:

1. Equality, Diversity & Regulatory Compliance
  • Implement and monitor measures established in the Equality Plan
    .
  • Prepare and maintain the Pay Equity Register and ensure periodic updates.
  • Review and track compliance with the Sexual Harassment Prevention Protocol
    .
  • Launch and monitor the LGTBI Plan and Protocol
    , including the coordination of relevant training sessions.
  • Update the Collective Bargaining Agreement and internal regulations to align with current labor laws and compliance principles.
  • Oversee compliance with the Spanish General Disability Law (LGD).
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors on matters related to immigration and expatriation
    .
  • Regularly review legal updates relevant to labor law and ensure internal compliance.
2. Payroll Management & Fiscal Obligations
  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process
    , including data collection, monthly updates, income tax calculations, and payment validation.
  • Prepare the monthly accounting entries for payroll and coordinate with the Accounting team to address inquiries.
  • Provide documentation for annual audits (financial and non‑financial).
  • Submit and verify Social Security contributions via SILTRA.
  • Prepare and reconcile tax models (111, 216, and 190) and collaborate with the Finance team.
  • Generate regular reports for Management and Finance
    , coordinating with the Data team to automate these reports.
  • Support employees with queries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits
    .
3. Employee Relations
  • Manage the termination process from start to finish, including drafting letters, calculating severance and settlements, managing access deactivation, and coordinating with CEMAC.
  • Provide support during onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration experience.
4. Training & Grants
  • Manage FUNDAE training credits and ensure proper tracking of subsidies.
  • Collaborate on documentation and reporting for R&D project grants
    , in coordination with external consultants.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive professional with a strong sense of integrity and attention to detail. Here’s what we’d love to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field
    .
  • 5–7 years of experience in payroll management and compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Spanish labor and tax legislation
    , including collective bargaining agreements.
  • Proven experience implementing Equality Plans and preparing Pay Registers
    .
  • Advanced Excel user
    ; experience with Sage payroll software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
    .
  • Professional working proficiency in English…
