Role OverviewAs an Implementation Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that new clients are successfully onboarded to Optio’s platform and services. You will work closely with the Implementation Lead and cross‑functional teams to manage data, deliver accurate setups, collaborate with clients, and ensure that each implementation runs smoothly from kick‑off to go‑live.
The role suits someone who is structured, analytical, collaborative, and service‑oriented — with a strong interest in equity compensation, finance, and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Client Onboarding & Project Support
- Support the end‑to‑end implementation process for new clients in collaboration with the Implementation Lead.
- Prepare for and participate in client kick‑off meetings, requirement‑gathering sessions, and status updates as well as client training and presentation of the portal.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding phase.
- Data Management & System Configuration
- Collect, validate, clean, and transform client data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Configure client setups in Optio’s platform, including plans, grants, participant data, transactions, and reporting structures.
- Perform quality assurance checks and troubleshoot discrepancies.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Settlement, Client Services, other relevant teams when escalations or technical dependencies arise.
- Coordinate with other Client Services teams for a smooth handover after go‑live.
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain clear documentation of implementation activities, data flows, and client‑specific configurations.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes, templates, playbooks, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the implementation experience.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business OR
- 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally from equity compensation administration.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and large‑data handling) and strong analytical capabilities, with proven experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.

- Ability to manage multiple implementation tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable implementation tasks.
- Curiosity and interest in incentive plans, equity, and fintech solutions.
- Nice‑to‑Have
- Experience from implementation, onboarding, client delivery, or similar roles in SaaS, finance, consulting, or fintech.
- Familiarity with equity compensation or financial modelling.
- A central role in a growing and strategically important team within Optio.
- Exposure to global clients and the challenge of mastering complex topics in equity compensation and fintech.
