Descripción del trabajo
Position Overview
Forma Design is evolving beyond interactive exploration toward a platform where knowledge, intent, and repeatable logic can be embedded directly into design workflows. Automation becomes a critical capability, not as isolated scripts but as a productized framework that allows design intelligence to scale across teams, projects, and organizations.
Responsibilities- Lead discovery focused on automation workflows, working closely with architects and building professionals to understand how automations can be created, configured, and reused.
- Explore where current tools fall short and how cloud‑native automation workflows can create new value.
- Validate problems and solutions through interviews, prototypes, experiments, and data, ensuring continuous learning informs what the team builds next.
- Translate validated insights into clear priorities and actionable direction for the product team.
- Partner closely with Design and Engineering to deliver high‑quality solutions iteratively while maintaining a strong connection between discovery and delivery.
- Contribute to and execute the Site Design product strategy, focusing on expanding adoption among engineers and ensuring new capabilities balance engineering rigor with flexibility required in early‑staged design.
- Work closely with adjacent Forma teams to ensure automation integrates naturally into end‑to‑end workflows and drive alignment around shared intent models and consistent system behavior across the platform.
- Define clear, outcome‑oriented goals and establish meaningful success metrics related to engineer adoption, engagement, workflow impact, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
- Own product decisions within the squad’s scope, take accountability for outcomes, and act as the primary representative for the team in stakeholder discussions.
- 3‑7 years of experience in product management or a closely related role in B2B or SaaS products.
- Strong skills in customer discovery, problem framing, and experimentation.
- Experience working closely with Design and Engineering in empowered product teams.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building products from the ground up.
- Ability to think in systems, platforms, and AI‑enabled workflows.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in AEC workflows, early staged design, and decision making under constraints.
- Experience with building design and design automations is a plus but not required.
- Health/Dental/Vision/Life insurance
- Work‑life balance initiatives
- Paid volunteer time off
- 6‑week paid sabbatical every 4 years
- Employee Resource Groups
- A “week of rest” at year’s end
