SAP Developer Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer Team Lead with strong expertise in ABAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to lead development activities on SAP S/4

HANA projects within an international environment.

The role is open to both permanent employees and contractors
. The successful candidate must have excellent English communication skills
, be willing to travel within the EU and internationally
, and be comfortable working with multicultural teams. Experience in the oil & gas industry is an advantage but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver SAP development activities using ABAP in S/4
  
  HANA environments
• Act as hands‑on technical lead while guiding and mentoring SAP developers
• Design and develop solutions using SAP BTP (extensions, integrations, cloud services)
• Ensure development follows SAP best practices and clean core principles
• Perform code reviews and ensure high‑quality deliverables
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and project stakeholders
• Support planning, estimations, and delivery commitments

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
  , ideally in a Team Lead role
• Hands‑on experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation or transformation projects
• Solid knowledge of OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP
• Experience with SAP BTP development or extensions
• Understanding of SAP integration concepts
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel
• Eligibility to work in the EU

Nice to Have

• SAP Fiori/UI5 experience
• SAP Integration Suite / CPI experience
• Experience in the oil & gas industry
• Experience working in international or global delivery teams
