Role OverviewThe Business Development Representative (BDR) – Forma plays an important role in building and qualifying pipeline while supporting prospects through the early stages of the sales journey. Working closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams, this role helps deliver a seamless customer experience by supporting lead qualification, pricing, contracts, quotations, and order processes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, collaborating across teams, and helping customers find the right solutions.
To maximise collaboration you will need to work 3 days per week in the Barcelona office, you will report to the Sr Manager, Emerging Solutions.
Minimum Qualifications- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a related role.
- Experience generating and qualifying leads and supporting pipeline development.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Experience supporting pricing, contracts, or order management processes.
- Experience working across multiple teams and functions.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS or technology sales environments.
- Comfort using CRM data and reporting to guide decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Engage inbound and outbound prospects through targeted outreach and data-driven insights.
- Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for sales teams.
- Identify and nurture high-potential opportunities to support pipeline growth.
- Understand prospect needs and help move opportunities forward.
- Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales teams and partners.
- Maintain accurate pipeline information and follow-up activities in CRM systems.
- Keep customer and opportunity data current and organized.
- Use CRM reporting and analytics to prioritize outreach and identify growth opportunities.
- Support prospecting, inbound demand response, pricing, quotations, contracts, and order coordination.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and GTM teams to help ensure timely and effective customer support.
- Assist with resolving complex requests while following established processes.
- Build strong relationships across teams to support customer and business goals.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and contribute to shared success.
