Software Quality Assurance Specialist with a strong IT-focused testing background, supporting manufacturing and enterprise systems within regulated and high-availability environments. Experienced in designing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test strategies for complex software solutions, including web applications, APIs, and backend services used in manufacturing, quality, and operational workflows.
Proficient in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience using Selenium for UI automation and Postman for RESTful API testing, including functional, regression, and integration test scenarios. Skilled in creating automated test scripts in C#, leveraging unit testing frameworks to validate API behavior, business logic, and system integrations. Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and early defect detection.
Solid understanding of database validation, with the ability to write and execute SQL queries for data verification, integrity checks, and test result analysis. Capable of reading and performing low-level validation of stored procedures, triggers, and backend data flows to ensure alignment with functional and business requirements, particularly in manufacturing-related systems.
Experienced in requirements analysis and traceability, translating business and system requirements into comprehensive test coverage. Strong ability to review functional specifications, user stories, and technical designs to identify test scenarios, edge cases, and potential risks early in the development lifecycle.
Hands-on experience validating API-based integrations between manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, QMS, ERP, data collection services), ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability. Skilled in creating and maintaining test data, executing dry runs, managing defects, and performing post-execution reviews to support high-quality releases.
Familiar with Computer System Validation (CSV) principles in regulated environments, supporting compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 13485 through structured testing, documentation, and traceability, while maintaining a pragmatic, risk-based testing approach aligned with agile and Dev Ops practices.
Effective collaborator with IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams, capable of communicating defects clearly, supporting root cause analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and standards across sites.
