About the position

We’re on the hunt for a junior to mid-level multimedia creator with a nerdy attitude and a love for the technical side of the craft. This isn’t just about cutting and trimming scenes; we need someone who can elevate narratives, and understand frames per second, SRT files, codecs, and the intricate details that make the magic happen. With a key focus on post-production, this role also calls for at least a basic understanding of Adobe After Effects.

If you’re adaptable, enjoy iterative workflows, and can juggle multiple priorities without losing your cool, you are the editor we need.

The position is 100% remote, although the role will be based in Mexico City where most of our productions happen. We will also consider applicants from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage cross-border raw footage with exceptional organizational skills, leveraging cloud ecosystems and online collaboration tools.
- Perform precise video editing, ensuring all technical specifications are met during rendering and exporting processes.
- Handle subtitles and captions with accuracy, including the meticulous management of SRT files.
- Collaborate effectively with the production team in a fast-paced Agile environment to meet tight deadlines and deliver superior results.
- Enhance video content through basic post-production work in Adobe After Effects, adding polished visual elements.
- Focus on achieving the purpose of each video, balancing effectiveness and aesthetics.
- Uphold Mediaverse’s quality and style standards across all video content.

Competencies required

- Fluency in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
- Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
- Familiarity with adapting aspect ratios and subtitling workflows.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong narrative and storytelling skills
- Keen attention to detail and a desire to perfect every frame.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting technical challenges.

Salary & Perks
