Identifies product availability failures that impact Office Depot's ability to generate revenue from sales and improve supply chain operations through vendor accountability. Documents and prepares data to support or deny vendor chargeback disputes to management for final resolution. Heavy coordination with cross-functional departments (i.e. supply chain, transportation, finance, operations, merchandising) to ensure proper delivery of products.
Analyze data and determine disposition of vendor disputes. Validates compliance chargebacks averaging $15M annually. Utilizes Traverse Systems software application to identify root causes behind product availability failures for assessed fine values.
Communicate, follow-up, research, train, analyze, and direct vendors on a constant, on-going basis to ensure proper dispute processes are followed in accordance with the supply chain compliance program.
Identify and implement procedures for educating new and existing vendors regarding the supply chain compliance program. Research and identify through interdepartmental collaboration opportunities for process efficiency improvements, system enhancements, reporting and data analysis.
Maintains and updates the supply chain compliance SOP procedures along with the Vendor Partnership Program Manual.
Maintains and supports the supply chain compliance mail box.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management
~Ability to identify opportunities for AI integration, utilize relevant applications (such as chatbots, data analysis platforms, or automation tools), and adapt to emerging AI solutions to improve work outcomes.
~ Proven knowledge and understanding of supply chain processes.
~ Strong professional-level English language skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
~ Excellent writing, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills, particularly in high-volume environments.
~ Ability to accurately research complex and large volumes of data using multiple research methods and tools for time-sensitive data with financial implication.
