Requirements:
Hands-on experience in API design with a variety of technologies like Java, NodeJS, No

SQL, and Relational Databases.
Hands-on experience designing RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI 2.0/3.0).
Hands-on experience designing data models from business requirements.

Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
Able to define and solve technical system interactions to achieve a business need.
Able to create API designs that are flexible, scalable, and backward-compatible.
Able to create a secure API with best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
Excellent team player with proven ability to influence.
Nice to have:

Experience with Microservices architecture and related technologies.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with database design and SQL.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop RESTful and/or Graph

QL APIs that meet business and technical requirements.
Create detailed API specifications, including endpoint definitions, request/response schemas, error handling, and security considerations.
Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective API designs.
Document and communicate API design decisions, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and understanding across teams.
Implement and maintain automated tests for APIs to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality API implementations.
Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks and issues before they impact users.
Ensure APIs are designed with security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Stay updated on the latest security threats and mitigation strategies.
Create comprehensive API documentation that is clear, concise, and easy to use for both internal and external developers.
Maintain and update documentation as APIs evolve.
