You are an expert in the modern Android ecosystem, ready to guide the team away from legacy Views and XML into the declarative world of   Jetpack Compose   . You will architect systems that handle real-time sports data with zero latency, ensuring our users never miss a bet.
What You'll Do
Technical Vision:
Architect scalable, modular Android applications using   Clean Architecture   and   MVVM/MVI   patterns.
Compose Migration:
Lead the strategic migration of legacy UI to   Jetpack Compose   , establishing best practices for state hoisting and recomposition optimization.
Concurrency:
Design complex asynchronous data pipelines using   Kotlin Coroutines   and   Flow   to handle real-time socket connections and API updates.
Code Quality:
Enforce strict coding standards through automated linting (Ktlint/Detekt) and rigorous code reviews.
Mentorship:
Elevate the skills of the team; run "Android Guild" meetings to share knowledge on new library updates and Google I/O announcements.
What You'll Bring

Experience:

10+ years of Android development with significant leadership experience.
Language:
Mastery of   Kotlin   , including advanced features (DSLs, Delegates, Generics).
UI Modernization:
Extensive production experience with   Jetpack Compose   .
Architecture:
Deep understanding of Android Architecture Components (View Model, Live Data, Room, Navigation).
Dependency Injection:
Expert knowledge of Dagger 2 or Hilt.
System Design:
Ability to design offline-first architectures and handle complex background processing (Work Manager)
