Royal Caribbean Group’s Architecture and Design Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Horticulturalist reporting to the Principal, Private Destinations

Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the A+D Director, Product Development-Destinations, the Landscape Manager will be responsible for managing the landscape scopes, in each destination, as bulleted below. Landscape mangers require expertise in the management of landscape projects from conception to completion.
Landscape managers oversee the design of the projects planting plans, grading and drainage, and irrigation in alignment with the brands expectation.
Landscape managers will need to take a lead in planning and development of planting design, procurement coordination, and installation phasing for a final successful execution.
Landscape mangers will require all the above in coordination with the projects budget.
Landscape managers will require travel, and on-site coordination during project installations.
Landscape managers will oversee the contractor’s execution of the final product
Landscape managers will ensure code compliance with local laws and regulations related to landscaping and outdoor maintenance
Landscape managers will coordinate with the team, consultants or contractors when needed
Landscape managers need to have the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
Valid driver's license
A master’s degree in landscape architecture.
~10+ years of Experience in the design in budget, procurement and installation of landscape architectural projects.
~ Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful projects.
~ Proven experience as a Landscape Manager or similar role.
~ Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and horticultural practices.
~ Excellent design and planning skills.
~ Experience in managing teams and projects.
~ Proficiency in relevant software, such as CAD or other design tools.
