About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Mexico. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, managing tax strategies, and supporting global reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management within manufacturing companies, advanced English proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with North America leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all tax compliance activities for Mexico, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other local obligations.
Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with global and regional objectives.
Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Support audits and liaise with external advisors and tax authorities.
Provide guidance on tax implications for business transactions and projects.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper tax accounting and reporting under IFRS/local GAAP.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impact on the organization.
Act as a key point of contact for North America tax leadership and global stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7–9 years of experience in tax management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Mexican tax regulations and exposure to international tax principles.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) – mandatory for daily communication with global teams.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days onsite per week).
