At Sony, we are seeking a highly analytical professional with strong experience in management accounting and cost control, specifically within U.S.–based corporate environments. We are looking for someone who understands U.S. financial practices, budgeting processes, and cost structures, and who can effectively support our organizational performance through accurate financial planning and reporting.  

Key Responsibilities

• Implement management accounting and cost control practices in alignment with U.S. (EU → U.S.) financial guidelines and corporate standards.

• Lead the development of the annual budget and forecasting processes.

• Monitor, analyze, and report departmental expenses, ensuring strict alignment with budget expectations.

• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and communicate insights effectively to managers and budget owners.

• Collaborate closely with Accounting, FP&A, and Tax teams to ensure accurate cost recording and compliance with internal policies.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports for management review.

• Support project planning, including financial estimations, cost modeling, and resource allocation.
Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in financial roles, ideally with direct exposure to U.S. cost control, budgeting, and management accounting processes, GAAP.

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business performance drivers.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Experience in Information Systems/IT is a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation is a plus.
