The position

VIVA is currently searching for   Network Planning Analysts   to be based at the corporate headquarters in Mexico City, reporting to the head of Planning.

The Network Planning Analyst is responsible for the development of Viva’s fast growing commercial network of routes. Our network planning team works with all commercial and operational departments to ensure they possess all information needed to build a sustainable and profitable network.

Primary objective s include:

Following our network strategy and historical route profitability, he or she defines the right number of weekly frequencies per route to ensure the network delivers our profitability targets. He or she will also work with Revenue Management to optimize flight schedules.
Our network planning analyst match route capacity with fleet growth making sure we maintain our very high aircraft utilization.
0ur Network Planning Analysts build and review with business cases of new routes that fit with our network strategy. Using Capacity data, passenger and revenue data provided by airports and other information sources are used to forecast passenger numbers and unit revenues.

Analyst also conduct Post Investment Appraisals of new routes launched to compare actuals figures with those expected in the business cases of new routes.

The candidate:

Must have minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in the Network Planning, Revenue Management or Strategy department of a leading airline.

- Active listener.
- Strategic thinking and attention to details.
- Is a team player and a caring person that always puts people and customers first.
- Is passionate, authentic, and willing to work hard and play harder!

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point.

Education

Undergraduate degree;
- Master’s degree is an asset.

Languages

- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal & written)
