On any given day you might...
As an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer, you will be a key contributor within an agile team, driving quality through hands-on automation, solid technical execution, and collaboration. You will work independently on moderately complex testing challenges, contribute to test automation frameworks, and support best practices across the Quality Lifecycle.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies, validate frontend and backend processes, and ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes through effective communication and automation ponsibilities
Analyze system specifications and user stories to design and develop automated test cases.
Assist in designing, creating, and executing test scripts within agile teams.
Identify, document, track, and support the resolution of defects using defect tracking tools.
Write and maintain automated test scripts using established frameworks.
Contribute to test automation framework structure, organization, and reusable components.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure quality standards are met.
Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure test scripts and cases are traceable to requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including auto-generating validation data when needed.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and clients to identify testing needs and process gaps.
Own QA artifacts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and support junior QA team members when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Test Automation role.
Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and test automation concepts.
Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Strong programming skills in at least one language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar.
Hands-on experience with one or more automation frameworks/tools:
Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber, UFT, or similar.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, or similar).
Basic understanding of SQL queries.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to self-organize, manage time effectively, and take ownership of QA deliverables.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
Experience or understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Exposure to API automation.
Knowledge of BDD / Gherkin / Cucumber implementations.
Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or AI-assisted testing practices.
