Role Overview
The Video Editor is responsible for producing conversion-focused video ads quickly and accurately.
This is not a "make it look cool" role.
This role exists to support performance.
If videos are slow, sloppy, or require heavy revisions, this role is failing.

Deliver video edits on time, every time
Hit agreed turnaround times consistently
Manage workload efficiently across multiple creatives
2. Quality & Iteration
Follow briefs precisely
Implement feedback cleanly and fast
Maintain high standards for:
Grammar

Cuts and pacing
Proactively suggest editing improvements based on:

Performance feedback
KPIs (How Performance Is Measured)
Primary KPIs (Direct Control):
Turnaround time
First-pass approval rate (percentage of videos approved on first review without major revisions)
Secondary KPIs (Influence):
Creative win rate
Breakthrough rate

Speed without sacrificing quality
High attention to detail (this is critical)
Clean version control and file organization
Open to direct feedback
Ability to execute, not debate
Understand that performance matters more than aesthetics

Qualifications
Proven experience editing short-form performance videos
Experience editing ads for paid traffic (Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube preferred)
Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention
Comfortable working from briefs
Familiar with UGC-style content and native platform formats
Portfolio or examples of ad creatives required.
