About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Email & Outbound Marketing Specialist to support client and internal initiatives using Hub Spot. This is a contract role focused on execution excellence—building, launching, and optimizing email campaigns that support demand generation, lead nurturing, and customer engagement.
You'll work closely with our internal strategy team to translate campaign plans into high-performing email programs, while also collaborating directly with clients to ensure alignment, accuracy, and results.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable owning email execution end-to-end and understands how email fits into a broader B2B marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Email Campaign Execution
Build, launch, and manage email campaigns in Hub Spot, including:
Nurture sequences
One-off campaigns
Newsletters
Event and webinar promotions
Implement emails based on strategic briefs, timelines, and campaign goals
Ensure emails follow best practices for deliverability, accessibility, and performance
Hub Spot Management
Manage lists, segmentation, and workflows in Hub Spot
QA emails, links, personalization tokens, and automation before launch
Support lead lifecycle stages and handoffs aligned with campaign strategy
Maintain clean, organized assets and documentation within Hub Spot
Collaboration & Client Support
Partner with internal strategists to execute campaign plans accurately
Work directly with clients to:
Review drafts and approvals
Incorporate feedback
Ensure brand voice and messaging alignment
Communicate clearly on timelines, dependencies, and campaign status
Optimization & Reporting
Monitor performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, engagement)
Conduct A/B tests on subject lines, content, and CTAs
Share insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns
Support ongoing optimization of nurture flows and email programs
Required Qualifications
2–4+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
Strong experience using Hub Spot Marketing Hub
Proven experience executing B2B email campaigns
Solid understanding of:
Email best practices
List segmentation
Personalization and dynamic content
Basic deliverability principles
Strong attention to detail and QA discipline
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working with both internal teams and external clients
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with B2B SaaS or professional services clients
Familiarity with lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing
Experience supporting demand generation or ABM programs
Reporting and insights experience beyond surface-level metrics
