Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Planner to oversee and optimize our physical shipment processes, including both inbound and outbound logistics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in using Transportation Management Systems for planning, executing, and ensuring compliance in goods movement. This role requires onsite presence in Mexico City, Mexico and offers a challenge to improve our logistics efficiency significantly.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement effective shipment plans for both inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
Utilize the Transportation Management System (TMS) to optimize routes, load plans, and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.
Oversee the preparation of all necessary shipping documentation, ensuring all goods are shipped in compliance with industry and legal standards.
Actively manage and troubleshoot any issues arising from the physical movement of products, including delays or damages.
Coordinate closely with hubs and spokes, as well as contract manufacturers (CMs), to ensure seamless movement of the company’s software and equipment.
Must-Have

Skills:

Proven experience in hands-on, physical outbound shipment planning.
Proficiency in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) for logistics planning and execution.
Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to new processes or changes in the shipping environment.
Industry

Experience:

Experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, specifically with knowledge in shipping technical or software products, is highly preferred.
