SDR (Sales Development Representative) – Alcatraz AI  Please watch this three-minute video first:
Type:  Full-time / Remote
Contract Type:  Independent contractor (you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits)
Fluent English  (written & spoken)
~1–3 years of experience in sales

Alcatraz is transforming physical security with autonomous access control powered by AI. As we scale, we're building a high-performing sales team to expand our reach across key markets and verticals. We're seeking a motivated SDR to generate a qualified pipeline and drive Alcatraz AI's growth.
The SDR will identify and create new qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. You'll interact with key decision-makers across higher education, life sciences, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure, helping them understand how Alcatraz AI enhances security, efficiency, and user experience.
Prospecting & Outreach:  Engage potential customers via cold calls, emails, Linked In, and other channels
Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team
Leverage Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator, Apollo IO, Clay, and other tools to identify accounts and key decision-makers

Collaboration:

Work closely with Marketing and Sales to execute campaigns, follow up on inbound leads, and refine messaging
CRM Accuracy:  Maintain up-to-date records of outreach, conversations, and opportunity stages
Quota Achievement:  Meet or exceed weekly/monthly metrics for calls, emails, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities
Continuous Improvement:  Participate in training, provide feedback on campaigns, and share insights to improve team performance
1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation (B2B tech, SaaS, or security preferred)
~ able to engage executives at multiple levels
~ Proficiency with Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator, and sales automation tools (Apollo IO, Clay, Gong, a plus)
~ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
