Position Summary
The Technical Services Manager is responsible for directing the technical studies and activities required in the project, including Resource Estimation, short term Mine Planning, Production Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Metallurgy, which are part of Feasibility Studies in their different stages, Economic Evaluations and future execution/operation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Technical Services department, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental standards practicing continuous improvement and ensure the safety of personnel in the activities under your responsibility.
Preparation of technical standards and procedures required in Technical Services department.
Conform and lead the technical team of professionals who will advise the line in each specialty.
Lead the technical aspects of project development, from the Feasibility Study to execution.
Lead geological and resource/reserve modeling and ensure the integrity and security of the database.
The TS Manager will be responsible of Ore Control and Geotechnical specialities.
Formulate mine development plans and establish short-term exploitation sequences according to the Feasibility Study.
Design/Lead and control the department's budget, cost planning and control processes.
TS Manager is responsible for estimating costs, setting a budget, and controlling spending in this department.
TS Manager is responsible for managing both human and material resources. They must allocate the right tasks to the right people and ensure the project has all the necessary resources at the appropriate times. This includes managing hiring when necessary, scheduling, and ensuring the project team has the tools and materials needed to succeed working closely with other teams to integrate technical inputs into the cost and schedule management processes.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports based on department and company indicators.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Technical Services department.
Proven experience in Technical Services Department or Planning.
Preferable experience in precious metals projects or operations.
Demonstrable knowledge of underground mining project start-up.
Knowledge of managing and administering performance indicators and mining operations.
Administration of Feasibility Studies focused on execution.
Experience working on construction stage projects.

This role is based in in Mazatlán, Mexico
Salary range: C $140k-$200k, per annum
