To assist in eliminating /reducing the risk of loss resulting from fire or smoke damage to Poultry resources including but not restricted to Personnel, Buildings, Plant & Equipment, Product and Raw Materials and information retrieval systems both paper & electronics. Carry out regular inspections of all workplaces to identify unsafe plant, unsafe working conditions and unsafe practices .

Activities
:

• Ensure the fire detection, alarm, suppression, water & hydrant system and fire fighting equipment are maintained and in state of readiness /availability.
• Reduce or eliminate where possible fire risk, business risk and risk to employees from fire related accidents or injuries.
• Ensure that incident such as loss, pilferage, sabotage, vandalism, fraud, etc are investigated and reported to the management.
• Identify hazards likely to produce an accident or fire loss, compile necessary reports and advise line management regarding preventative measures.
• Advise on required fire warning and fire fighting equipment for all areas of the poultry business
• Ensure the fire detection, alarm, suppression, water & hydrant system and fire fighting equipment are maintained and in state of readiness /availability through development of a fire inspection system

Requirement
:

The Potential candidates must meettherequirementsmentionedbelow:

• Degree in a field related to health and safety.
• 3 years experience in multi-culture workforce organization, handling fire detection and suppression equipment.
• Previous experiences as trained fire-fighter with either a civil Fire Brigade or large multi-national company fire team.
• Good written and spoken English essential.
• Knowledge and experience of an electronic Fire Detection System & Sprinkler System.
