Content Creator & Social Media Specialist

Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF)  and  Global Coffee Awards (GCA)  are looking for a creative, strategic, and highly organised Content Creator & Social Media Specialist to lead digital storytelling and community engagement across our platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hands-on content creation, understands multi-format production, and is passionate about the global specialty coffee industry.

This is a part-time, permanent and remote position. The role reports directly to the Marketing Manager, who provides strategic direction, approves content, and collaborates on brand positioning and campaign planning.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Production
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align content with brand strategy, campaign goals, and organisational priorities.
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for PRF and GCA across Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, You Tube, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Ideate, script, film, and edit high-quality original content.

Content Calendar & Publishing
Build, own, and maintain the multi-platform content calendar for PRF and GCA.
Ensure timely publishing and scheduling across all channels, adapting content to platform-specific formats and audiences.

Design & Brand Alignment
Support the design team in producing visually engaging graphics, carousels, and static content using pre-approved Canva templates.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and visual identity.

Community Management
Actively manage and grow PRF and GCA’s online communities by responding to comments and messages and fostering meaningful engagement.

Performance & Optimization
Track and analyse performance metrics across platforms to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.

Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience creating high-performing content for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and/or Linked In.
Strong video shooting, storytelling, and editing skills (Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar).
Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and static content.
Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
Bilingual:  English and Spanish.

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of specialty coffee (origins, producers, roasting, and supply chain).

Additional Information
PRF and GCA host events globally. Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally for event coverage, content creation, and community engagement, including preparation periods ahead of events when required.
