About Truvity  We are a fast-growing decentralized identity management start‑up, with legal entities in London, Amsterdam and Budapest. We are looking for a talented accountant who would help us maintain and develop the Group’s accounting, financial reporting, audit, control, and financial planning and analysis, and work from our offices or remotely under the management of our CFO, to set robust reporting and corporate governance foundations for long‑term growth.

Job Description   Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts for all the Group entities
Bookkeeping and accounts preparation on Xero accounting system
Reconcile AR/AP and monitor billing, collection and payments
Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
Reconcile inter‑company accounts and transactions
Posting of payroll records in the accounting system
Accounting for fixed assets and intangible assets and depreciation
Monitoring cash flow and foreign currency accounts devaluation
Preparing month‑end closing, including accruals, for monthly management accounts
Producing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
Compliance of returns (such as VAT returns) for filing
Preparing statutory financial statements and schedules for audit
Assisting in budgeting and forecasting and financial planning and analysis
Qualifications   University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Working with Xero (or Quick Books) is a must
ACCA or an equivalent certification
3+ years experience at one of the big accounting firms
3+ years experience in accounting in a commercial company, preferably in the technology industry
In‑depth knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting, planning, and IFRS reporting
Advanced Excel skills and computer skills
Excellent analytical skills and advanced problem‑solving skills
Hands‑on, multi‑tasking, time‑management skills, and commitment to meeting deadlines
Excellent attention to details
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, integrity and honesty
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
