Senior Accountant at Savana  Founded in 2014, Savana is a medical company that uses AI to unlock clinical value from electronic health records. The role focuses on managing key financial processes—including intercompany transactions, accounting review, tax compliance, billing, and revenue management—while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities   Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Review and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.
Handle billing processes across different revenue streams.
Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
Support rolling revenue forecasts and cash-flow analysis.
Lead financial audits and prepare statutory filings (e.g., annual accounts).
Prepare technical memorandums and perform financial analyses to support business decisions.
Operate in full compliance with Security Policies, Procedures, and Manuals.
Report any suspected incidents or propose improvements to enhance processes and controls.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications   Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting from a Spanish university. Master’s Degree or specialization in taxation or auditing is valued.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ideally within international or multi-entity environments.
Strong knowledge of Spanish tax regulations (VAT/SII and Corporate Income Tax) and experience in preparing and coordinating financial audits and statutory accounts.
Understanding of intercompany transactions, consolidations, and cross-border operations.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, especially Net Suite, including reporting, consolidation, and process automation.
Ability to supervise and mentor a junior accountant and act as the main liaison between the Head of Finance and the operational team.
Effective coordination with local tax advisors in other countries to ensure timely filings for foreign subsidiaries.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, organizational and planning ability, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
