About the role
ITAAG is expanding its U.S.–Spain international advisory practice and seeks a Spanish tax and accounting specialist to support our growing client base on a contract basis. This role is well suited to an experienced professional who is confident managing Spanish tax compliance independently and comfortable coordinating across international teams. It is a hybrid position, combining remote flexibility with regular collaboration from our office in Marbella.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and coordinate Spanish tax filings and forms (Modelos 100, 130, 303, 390, 720, and others as required)

Provide ongoing monthly accounting and tax‑compliance support for assigned clients

Serve as a point of contact for Spanish and international clients, and lead client meetings as needed

Support compliance matters involving autónomos and Spanish companies (SLs), and liaise with Spanish authorities

Coordinate with the U.S.

-based team on cross‑border tax planning and strategy

Maintain client records, engagement documentation, and compliance files

Requirements

Based in Marbella or the surrounding area (Costa del Sol / Málaga), with the ability to work from our Marbella office on a hybrid basis

Demonstrated experience with Spanish tax filings, autónomos, and SLs

Familiarity with Spanish tax authority procedures and requirements

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Availability overlapping U.S. Eastern business hours (approximately 1:00–10:00 PM Spain time)

Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish
