Your mission

As a Senior Android Developer at Bitpanda, you will work on the development of our native Android app infrastructure as part of a core mobile platform team. You will be responsible for shaping the architecture of our Android application by driving key initiatives to ensure its quality, scalability, and resilience.

What you'll do

Design and maintain the Android app architecture to ensure a robust foundation.

Conduct code reviews to uphold consistency and quality across the codebase.

Establish best practices, document guidelines, and mentor fellow Android developers.

Communicate effectively and work independently to support team goals.

Build and enhance modules and developer tools that empower the Android team to deliver high-quality code efficiently.

Who you are

Excellent knowledge of Kotlin, Coroutines, Hilt, and Retrofit.

Proficient in architecture patterns such as MVVM.

Experience in managing and publishing Android applications on Google Play in a professional environment.

Solid knowledge of UI testing frameworks like Espresso and UI Automator.

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines - experience with Git Lab CI is a plus.
