As part of our international expansion plan, we are looking for a software developer for our Regtech team in SIX BFI.
SIX BFI is one of the largest and most recognized market data providers in the world, with global datasets of financial markets information. Sitting in such a huge amount of information, SIX BFI is fostering its Regtech team based in Madrid.
We are currently working on a SaaS platform for Trade Surveillance (detection of patterns of potential market abuse behaviors in the trading activity of brokers) which includes modern technologies like:
Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Postgre

SQL, Django, Graph

QL, Angular, Airflow and Gitlab CI/CD.

• Back-end development in Python
• Write and maintain unit tests using pytest
• Optimize and extend existing APIs
• Design and implement new features end-to-end
• Run and maintain jobs in our Spark cluster (>140 cores, >700 GB RAM)
• Develop and operate ETL pipelines orchestrated with Airflow
• Support operations and basic Dev Ops activities

• Good experience with Python and SQL
• Experience working with Git Hub or Git Lab
• Hands-on experience with unit testing
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
