Remote Backend Engineer

You will help enhance our platform that facilitates the transition towards 24/7 clean energy. Your work will directly impact electricity companies and suppliers, addressing their needs for efficient energy consumption and generation matching.

• Develop, test and release new functionalities for the Energy Platform, focusing on optimizing energy consumption and production.
• Collaborate with product teams to define and shape new product features.
• Contribute to team culture and improve existing ways of working.

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages, preferably including Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience in energy or financial markets is a plus.
• Strong understanding of team best practices and quality software development.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in startup and/or remote work environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with relational databases, especially Postgres, is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset and experience with data manipulation libraries are a plus.
