Remote Technical Lead Euro; Fintech

We are searching for an exceptional Remote Technical Team Lead to join our client's dynamic software development startup. Our client is a prominent multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, and with a well‑funded operation and a team of over 200 employees, they are revolutionizing the industry.

Software Engineer lead that would be responsible for leading the technology team and developing the product. That includes people management, team performance improvements, conducting code reviews, designing new services and enhancements to existing, ensuring optimal technology stack. As a manager of software development team you would contribute to development of high‑load systems with high standards of system stability.

• Designing and developing high-load services from scratch
• Identify problems in the application's code, form refactoring tasks and decompose stories and tasks
• Tech debt structuring and management
• Conducting code review
• Analysis of product requirements and design of development plans
• Constant interaction with Sub‑Stream Software Engineers, technical support, project managers and other stakeholders to optimize processes and improve product quality
• Responsibility for product quality and reliability
• System technical analysis and elimination of bottlenecks
• Improving system stability under heavy loads

• Strong proficiency in Go with a solid understanding of core concepts, idiomatic usage and concurrent coding principles
• At least 4 years of practical experience in commercial Go development
• 1+ year experience managing a development team of 3+ people
• Experience developing high‑load applications (thousands of RPS)
• Deep understanding of synchronization mechanisms
• Basic understanding of Linux principles and commands
• Strong skills in code profiling and debugging
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
• Experience writing unit and integration tests
• Experience working with message brokers and a deep understanding of how they operate
• Confident command of SQL databases and skills in working with them
• Experience with OpenAPI, Protobuf and gRPC
• Deep understanding of CI/CD
• Knowledge of SOLID, design patterns, and experience applying them
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies (e.g., PHP, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience with external caching servers
