Senior Software Engineer – Central Data Platform Team

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Central Data Platform Team and design, develop, and maintain the future Main Data-based Product for the Industry: the SITA’s Total Airport Management System (TAM).

• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders across the Air Transport Industry to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data products focused on performance, cost‑efficiency, and security.
• Develop reference ingestion APIs, ensuring proper data quality and coherence for consumer use.
• Develop and maintain pipelines and CI/CD for product development and deployment, ensuring proper testing and quality coverage.
• Contribute to the design, definition, development, and deployment of the full set of APIs to access data and develop basic user interfaces with AI assistance.
• Collaborate with the team to build the Future Main Data-based Product: the SITA’s Total Airport Management System (TAM).

• 3‑5 years of technical experience with large company back‑end systems.
• Strong technical skills in any typed backend language (Java, Type Script) with clean coding and OOP practices.
• Proven knowledge of Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) applied to large companies with complex businesses.
• Expertise in Hexagonal Architecture and experience using it as a design pattern.
• Knowledge of Rest‑API design and development best practices; experience with Graph
  
  QL a plus.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, and event streaming (Azure Event Hub, Kafka) a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Cloud deployment experience, Azure preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and improve processes.
