Gartner is looking for a well‑rounded and motivated developer to join the R&D unit within our SSD Integration Team. Having reliable and consistent data across the enterprise has never been more important; business data needs to be distributed and made readily available to various applications and users.

The SSC Integration team provides centralized, reliable integration frameworks.

• Design, build, and deliver fast and reliable Enterprise Integration Engineering solutions.
• Develop AWS Lambda stubs and libraries in Java, Rust, and Python to enable rapid subscriber development.
• Collaborate with leads and developers across the enterprise to deliver optimal integration solutions.
• Write high‑performing, scalable code using Rust and Python for our integration frameworks.
• Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests, and deployment scripts, and review project artifacts created by peers.
• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to software architecture or new technologies in a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment.

• Strong IT professional with 2–4 years of experience in software development, demonstrating high ownership and accountability.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience developing high‑performing code, preferably in Python and/or Rust.
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS.
• Strong understanding of system design patterns.
• Good understanding of security best practices.

• Experience with No
  
  SQL databases, AWS Glue, MCP, and AI technologies.
• Experience working with Jenkins and Git or similar automation/repository management tools.
• Experience with event‑driven applications, especially those built around AWS Event Bridge.
• Experience working with modern UI frameworks, such as Next.js.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Curious and willing to learn, discovering new ways to serve enterprise.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast‑paced Agile‑Scrum environment.
• Owns success – takes responsibility for the successful delivery of solutions.
• Strong desire to improve upon your skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
