Chief Technology Officer Remote; Fintech

We are seeking an exceptional Remote Chief Technology Officer to join our client's thriving startup. Our client, a leading multi-asset liquidity and technology white-label solutions provider for brokerages and exchanges, is well-funded and boasts a team of over 100 talented individuals.

• Lead the development of our liquidity hub and oversee a team of skilled specialists.
• Manage the software engineer stream and sub-stream, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with the software engineer stream to achieve project goals.
• Conduct performance reviews for the software engineer stream, sub-stream, and QA stream lead.
• Provide technical validation of system requirements to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct interviews for the software engineer stream, sub-stream, QA stream lead, and QA engineer stream.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including manual, automatic, load, chaos, and regression testing.
• Coordinate priorities with the Product Manager across the stream.
• Continuously enhance CI/CD practices, tech radar, technological stacks, protocols, and services within the department.
• Take ownership of upcoming release stability and overall system performance.
• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of software engineers, sub-streams, QA stream leads, and QA engineer streams.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, web application architecture, and database design.
• Proficiency in Go, unit testing, and automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Git Lab, Sentry, Grafana, Docker, CI/CD, Mongo & Postgre, and automated development tools for security screening, chaos engineering, and semantic release.
