Case Manager

We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience working as a Personal Injury legal assistant who would like to work for a U.S. Law Firm!  We have multiple positions available for immediate hire.

Please note:

This position is for independent contractors. As such, you will be responsible for your own taxes and insurance.

Salary is paid every 1st and 15th
40 Hours per week

Responsibilities:
Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal team
Develop case strategies and oversee the implementation of these strategies
Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activity
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer any questions they may have
Act as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the progress of their cases
Coordinate with outside experts and vendors as needed to ensure that clients receive the best possible representation
Provide ongoing support and guidance to the legal team as they work on individual cases
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents as necessary
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant in a Personal Injury law firm
Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other case management software
