About the role
At SAFE Autoparts, a leading company in the automotive aftermarket industry, we are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to join our team at SAFE Refacciones Origin ales. This role is designed for sourcing professionals who combine strong supplier negotiation skills with analytical thinking and a strategic mindset.
You will play a key role in strengthening our supplier base, expanding our product catalog, and ensuring cost competitiveness without compromising quality or availability.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate the performance of current and potential suppliers within the automotive aftermarket.
Lead commercial negotiations with national and international suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, MOQs, logistics conditions, and SLAs.
Identify, assess, and develop new products and strategic suppliers aligned with SAFE's commercial strategy.
Coordinate technical validations and quality testing before onboarding new SKUs.
Define purchasing, planning, and inventory parameters, including reorder points and catalog integration.
Collaborate closely with Planning, Logistics, Product Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to ensure efficient launches and continuous product availability.
Analyze purchasing and inventory data using advanced Excel tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Prepare and present sourcing performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
Ideal Profile
4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, or purchasing within the automotive or aftermarket sector.
Proven experience negotiating with national and international suppliers.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and sourcing strategy.
Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite.
High analytical capability, results orientation, and ability to work cross-functionally.
Advanced English level (C1); daily interaction with international suppliers is required.
