Overview
At Zinco, we’re building the back-office of the future for small businesses: accounting, taxes, payroll, financing — all powered by AI + automations and delivered with the trust of real human advisors who know what truly matters to clients.
We believe technology can make complex things simple.
But real impact happens when great people make things happen.
We’re building a company where execution is a superpower, and where shipping high-quality product fast is a competitive advantage.
This is where you come in.
As a Product Manager at Zinco, your mission is to ensure that product initiatives are delivered efficiently, on time, and with high quality.
You won’t own product strategy or roadmap definition — instead, you’ll be the person who turns product plans into reality.
You’ll drive execution across teams, coordinate timelines and dependencies, unblock progress, and make sure product development runs smoothly as Zinco scales.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations — acting as the operational backbone of the product team.
🚀
What you’ll work on
Some examples of what you’ll be enabling at Zinco:
- AI-driven workflows that automate accounting and tax processes
- Internal tools that improve advisor productivity and client experience
- Cross-functional product initiatives involving compliance, finance, and operations
- Delivery frameworks that allow the product team to scale without losing speed
Must-have
:
- Hybrid role based in Madrid: You’re based in Madrid and enjoy working in a hybrid setup — collaborating with the team in-person several days a week while maintaining flexibility for remote work. 🚀
- Proven product management experience: You’ve shipped products in fast-paced environments and can point to lessons learned that shaped your craft.
- Thrive in ambiguity: You bring order to chaos, structure fuzzy problems, and prioritize ruthlessly among many possible directions.
- Exceptional product sense: You anticipate edge cases and second-order effects, making sharp tradeoffs without needing perfect information.
- Deep user empathy & strong UX instincts
:
You understand both first-time users and power users, and know what good UX looks like in great products. - Ownership & bias for action
:
You fix what’s broken, ship, learn, and iterate rather than over-plan. - Data fluency with strong intuition
- Influence without authority: You align engineering, design, data, and docs through clarity and trust—not positional power.
- Clear, efficient communicator: You write roadmaps and specs people actually read, and tailor the message for leaders and engineers alike.
- True generalist: You're energized by wearing multiple hats and tackling diverse challenges rather than specializing in one area.
Nice-to-haves:
- Growth experimentation experience: You’ve designed/analyzed A/B tests and know when experiments aren’t the right tool.
- AI product background: You’ve shipped AI-powered features and understand prompts, non-determinism, and failure states.
- Entrepreneurial/early-stage experience: You’ve worn many hats and can navigate in many areas at once.
