What you will be doing:

• Gather, validate and document detailed business needs, user stories, and functional specifications
• Evaluate business requests and needs against the corporate strategy
• Hand-over requirements to development teams
• Support user-acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with change management
• Recognize and recommend opportunities for innovations
• Take ownership of initiatives and work independently to successful conclusion
• Maintain close partnerships with collaborating departments e.g. IT, Operations and Regulatory.
• Engage with all levels of business stakeholders to identify business needs

What do you bring with you:

• Strong analytical thinking capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to interact effectively throughout various functional groups and hierarchical levels
• Strong aptitude for root-cause analysis and strategic prioritization
• Experience in designing and documenting business/system requirements.
• Affinity with technology and innovative mindset
• Willingness to travel frequently (25% or more) to various Fed Ex locations in Europe
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) to present to technical and business audiences
• Previous exposure to Customs Clearance and Business Analysis is an advantage
• Preferably:
  Business school/University level education, in business-administration (MBA), business-engineering, master’s in information technology or business analytics, or similar
• Preferably:
  Business Analyst certificate, or willing to study to obtain this
