Head of Product Hybrid Remote

As Head of Product, you’ll take full ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and execution. Your mission is to help grow Hevy into a category-leading, world-class product.

We aim to grow from 10M to 100M users over the next decade. To get there, we need to keep investing in products that people love to tell their friends about — driven by exceptional retention and strong social growth loops.

This is a hybrid role in Barcelona, with time split between remote work and our new office in Poblenou.

• Leadership experience – You’ve managed, grown, and coached teams.
• Methodical thinking – A structured approach to planning and building products with a long-term view.
• Design Intuition – Good taste in design & UX, attention to detail, prioritizing simplicity over bloat.
• Creative thinking – You can think outside the box, finding innovative solutions to unique problems.
• Experience:
  
  B2C, Mobile apps, ideally social products.
• Strategic ability – Can think high level of product strategy, and build a roadmap based on it.
• Organizational mindset – Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to keep execution on track.
• Hands-on mindset – You can plan long-term, but love diving into details. Product is a passion for you!
• An interest in fitness – Being a potential user yourself of a product like Hevy is a massive benefit to understand our users’ pain points.
• 5-10+ years in Product, having been a Head of Product, CPO, or VP Product or similar.
• Native-level English – To communicate your ideas clearly to our international team

• Take ownership from Day 1.
• Build our Hevy ecosystem across mobile, web, wearables, and partner integrations.
• Balance our users’ pain points, business priorities, technical constraints, product analytics, and opportunities into a carefully planned product roadmap.
• Guide product direction and drive execution, getting into the details and supporting key initiatives.
• Coach and develop the product team, and hire as needed to scale.
• Work closely with the Head of Engineering and the Head of Marketing to implement your product roadmap.
• Professionalize the product team. Bring us from a start-up to a scale-up, keeping the team lean and highly performing.
• Act as a trusted partner to the founders, comfortable defending your positions and pushing back when needed, always anchored in what’s best for the company’s long-term success.
