SRE​/Performance Engineering

The Site Reliability Engineering team constantly practices the Dev Ops mindset to build and deploy distributed, fault-tolerant systems  part of this team, you will work with developers, operations, and product sponsors to help design, build, and deploy the critical infrastructure needed.

Design and enhance software architecture to improve scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance.
You are not an operator, you’re an experienced software engineer focused on operations.
Author and update high-quality documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and procedures.
Build and maintain monitoring solutions that keep our Operations teams ahead of any incident before it happens.
Experiment with new AWS offerings that can one day be used to improve current systems.
Collaborate with senior engineers to design seamless CICD Pipelines in Gitlab.
Collaborate across the development teams to share knowledge and support new projects.
Ability to travel 10% of the working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 4 years of experience instead of
Bachelor’s degree.
Background in coding with Python is a must
Experience designing/developing cloud-centric systems using Terraform IaC Ability to debug/optimize code and automate routine tasks.
Strong experience with building problem-solving solutions in AWS or Azure.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
Track record in successfully addressing performance, scalability and latency challenges.
~ AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Sys Ops Administrator, or AWS Developer certification.
