Role’s overview

A job holder’s role will be to develop new business from existing clients, actively seek new opportunities, identify business development opportunities and product requirements, manage a portfolio of assigned customers, generate profitable sales in area or region of assignment. Achieve company targeted budget revenue and account receivables parameters. Provide commercial support and assistance to existing and prospect customers, suggesting new applications, adaptations or modifications to existing product lines, to solve specific customer system problems.

Drive the “voice of the customer” into all aspects of the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Assists in planning and developing short and long‑term sales and marketing strategy within territory to achieve given turnover targets.
  • Develops and maintains close customer relationship through programs of regular scheduled contacts and visits.
  • Analyzes customer and market needs, as well as competitors’ products and sales strategies, reporting promptly new developments to management.
  • Participates at trade shows and organizes seminars and product promotions.
  • Negotiates prices within the established procedure to ensure profitable sales orders.
  • Follows up on product performance, identifying and documenting difficulties, technical and application problems.
  • Facilitates specific and regular customer product trainings, to ensure proper understanding of Aritech equipment.
  • Develops and maintains liaisons with national account local branch offices.
  • Offers marketing and product management suggestions for product development to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintains contact with local authorities and approval agencies such as architects – gets Aritech products specified.
Key requirements
  • Min. Bachelor (or equivalent) degree, technical or business area preferred.
  • 4 – 7 years of working experience in sales and/or account management.
  • Consultative selling experience.
  • Spanish/Catalan – fluent, English – min. good.
  • Experience of working in multiple vertical markets.
  • Experience in electronic security industry will be a strong advantage.
  • Technical background combined with strong influencing skills.
  • Strong motivation to drive things – we are looking for a hunter!
  • Good communication and networking skills.
  • Curious, committed, good team worker with unyielding integrity.

    Ability to work with competing demands in small multi‑discipline teams.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
