Here’s the difference you’ll make
As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory based on the agreed target by ensuring that all stock movements are properly accounted for and that all transactions are documented and executed real-time and accurately in the system.
What you’ll do
Regularly conducts cycle counting together with Inventory Management Counters based on the agreed schedule.
Validates, analyzes and reconciles variances of actual stocks versus system inventory as soon as discrepancy was found.
Prepares and submits Inventory Records Accuracy (IRA) reports to IM and Operations Team upon cycle counting.
Upon reconciliation and verification, prepares request for stock adjustment for items with discrepancy.
Processes stock adjustments in the system for items with discrepancy on batch number accurately and in timely manner.
Coordinates with Principal all stock adjustments for proper recording and monitoring.
Assists IM Unit Leader/Team Leader in the execution of Wall-to-Wall Physical Inventory Count.
Prepares and sends Stock-On-Hand and Aging Report to Principal and Operations Team on the agreed schedule and asks Principal for disposition of expired and near expiry stocks if any.
Ensures that all damaged stocks found in the Warehouse are properly documented, labelled, monitored, in proper location, and reported to Principal for disposition.
Evaluates and analyzes inventory level and reports any abnormalities found to IM UL/TL and Principal.
Initiates and reports results of Bin Checking.
Monitors stock movements in the Warehouse and checks if First-in First-out (FIFO) policy is being followed, if required.
Reports and requests Warehouse Team to execute bin-to-bin transactions for items found in different locations versus system.
Coordinates inventory related issues to Warehouse, IM Unit Leader/Team Leader and to other concerned parties.
Ensures that all transactions are accounted for and that all stock movements are properly recorded, documented and executed in the system in a timely manner.
Prepares and submits Counter’s Productivity report to IM Unit Leader/Team Leader.
Assists in supervising IM Counters in their day-to-day activities.
Ensures that all procedures related to inventory management are strictly followed to avoid inventory discrepancies.
Files inventory documents in an organized and systematic manner.
Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
You’ll thrive in this role if you
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any related course.
With 1 year work experience specializing in warehousing/inventory management
With working knowledge in any Warehouse Management System (WMS)
