About the Role

We're looking for Image Description Specialists to write clear, accurate, and richly detailed descriptions of images — helping cutting-edge AI systems learn to interpret everything they see.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong observational skills and the ability to communicate what they see in writing. No photography, art, or technical background required — just a sharp eye and a commitment to quality.

What You'll Do

Write detailed, structured descriptions of images spanning a wide range of types — including photographs, illustrations, diagrams, charts, and more

Identify and articulate key visual elements such as objects, people, settings, actions, relationships, and spatial context

Follow clear annotation guidelines to ensure consistent format, depth, and accuracy across all descriptions

Label and classify visual content according to provided frameworks and category systems

Maintain high quality and consistency when working through large batches of images

Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

Naturally observant — you notice details others might miss

Strong descriptive writing ability with clear, precise language

Comfortable following structured guidelines and applying them consistently across varied content

Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently

Able to sustain accuracy and attention to detail over extended tasks

No photography, design, or AI experience required

Nice to Have

Background in writing, editing, journalism, or visual communication

Experience with data annotation, content tagging, or quality assurance

Familiarity with AI tools or image platforms as an end user
