We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to supervise and perform the accounting functions for our business in Croatia from our Global Business Services (GBS) in Barcelona. In this role, you will ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the General Accounting Manager, and you will play a crucial part in our accounting team performing financial operations.
GLAVNE ODGOVORNOSTI Pripremati i nadzirati mjesečni i godišnji proces zaključivanja računovodstva.
Priprema i pregled financijskih izvještaja kako bi se osigurala točnost i strogi pridržavanje regulatornih propisa.
Praćenje promjena u računovodstvenim i poreznim propisima.
Suradnja s različitim odjelima radi pružanja financijskih informacija.
Suradnja na internim i eksternim revizijama, osiguravajući temeljitu pripremu i pravovremeno rješavanje identificiranih problema.
Pomoć u pripremi zakonskih financijskih izvještaja entiteta u okviru odgovornosti.
Priprema mjesečnog pregleda i usklađivanja svih računa bilance.
Kao dio računovodstvenog tima GBS-a, sudjelovat ćete u računovodstvenim poslovima i pomagati na financijskim projektima kao što su integracija subjekata pod GBS-om, implementacija novih računovodstvenih standarda, robotizacija i digitalizacija poslova itd.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Assist, perform and supervise the monthly and annual accounting close process.
Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
Keep updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations.
Collaborate with various departments to provide financial information.
Collaborate on internal and external audits, ensuring thorough preparation and timely resolution of identified issues.
Assist in the preparation of the Statutory Accounts of the entities under scope.
Prepare monthly review and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
As part of the GBS accounting team, you will take part in accounting tasks and assist on finance projects such as integration of entities under the GBS, implementation of new accounting treatments/standards, robotization and digitalization of the tasks, etc.
UVJETI Diploma iz računovodstva ili poslovne administracije.
Najmanje 5/6 godina iskustva u računovodstvu i financijskim ulogama.
Poznavanje računovodstvenih politika i IFRS-a. Iskustvo u Big 4 revizijama smatra se prednošću.
Napredno znanje SAP FI-a, s naprednim vještinama u alatima za financijsku analizu poput Microsoft Excela.
Poznavanje hrvatskok jezik je obavezan, te poznavanje engleskog i španjolskog jezika.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
Proven experience of minimum 5/6 years in general ledger accounting and financial roles.
In-depth knowledge in accounting policies and IFRS. Valuable Big 4 audit experience.
Proficient in SAP FI, with advanced skills in financial analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Croatian language is a must. Excellent command of English and Spanish.
