About the Role   Learnlife is seeking a dynamic Middle Years Learning Guide to lead and revolutionize learning experiences for 10 to 14‑year‑olds in the Villanova/Sitges region.
Start Dates and Working Hours     Part‑time mornings starting January 2025.
Full‑time starting end of August 2025 (vacancies will be replied to in 2025).

Hours:

9:00am–1:00pm in person in St. Pere de Ribes, Garraf (Barcelona area).

Role Description   As a Middle Years Learning Guide, you will design and implement transformative learning experiences. You will co‑create the Middle Years Program in our new location, fostering a love for learning and equipping students with essential skills for success, while fostering a positive learning culture.
Role Responsibilities      Lead Program Design:  Co‑design and lead a comprehensive program for 10‑14‑year‑olds, including literacy, numeracy, and transdisciplinary learning, collaborating with stakeholders to develop innovative, student‑centered curriculum.
Learning Space Development:  Oversee the design and development of engaging learning environments tailored to middle‑years learners.
Parent Communication:  Serve as key contact for communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and program developments.
Collaborative Teamwork:  Work collaboratively within a cross‑functional, agile team to develop and refine learning experiences; participate in training sessions and coaching for continuous professional growth.
Required Skills and Experience      Educational Expertise:  Experience working with 10‑14‑year‑olds in innovative learning environments; demonstrated ability to connect with students and build trusting relationships.
Teaching Certificate:  Officially recognised in Spain or another country for upper primary or lower secondary, holding a certificated teaching license.
Special Needs:  

Experience with learning differences is a plus.
Innovative Mindset:  Capacity to draw from a wide range of learning methodologies and adapt them to meet diverse learners’ needs.
